This is a photo taken while on a bus. Our bus stop looked a little more ‘sophisticated’ than some other cities:)

This seemed to be the ideal for women in Singapore as it has been portrayed as the desired fair skin:) and shiny black, straight hair is always preferred somehow. Women who are tanned will be said to be ‘farmers’, this is what I heard about a different perception about tanned skin tone and I find it rather strange:) In Singapore, a lot of people like ‘tanned skin’ becos even to me, it’s a sign of ‘healthiness’ or ‘sportiness’…just like the symbolism of ‘rosy cheeks’;) So do you prefer ‘farmer’ or ‘porcelain’?

Question: Why did I choose this?

Answer: I like the composition. And if you remember you’ve seen the post I wrote about this photo, the way I wrote about it was really the exact that had happened and I find the entirety works very well. Some people called this ‘entirety’ – composition!;)
