Yishun
Every once in a while, the MRT trains would terminate its service at the YISHUN MRT station. If you are not in a hurry, it’s rather fine and you could even take out the camera and take some photos like me…
However, it can be very annoying if for example, you have just boarded the train and in less than one stop, it announces over the loud speakers that ‘This train terminates at Yishun…’
grrrrrrr………And the second annoyance is, the station that i must alight is immediately the next one!
Hairy flower?
In real, they looked quite stunning:) It looks very fluffy and soft, and the fruits looked tasty…but erm…normally we wouldn’t dare try it:p in case it is poisonous
Since my return from Budapest, i found how much flowers we have these days. Due to our sunny weather, the flowers are almost all blooming! it’s is totally spring here…
7th Day after the CNY – Ren Ri
it is ”Everybody’s Day” today, so in chinese we called it ”Ren Ri”. We did the ‘lau yu sheng’ activity (see photos in keropokman’s post today) and it was fun!:)
These two little sisters caught my eyes;) and their grandparents are really nice and patient, see how caring they were ‘eyeing’ on the two little girls while they both rode on a ‘twin’ bicycle:)

The Chinese Countdown
This area where I live is called ‘Sembawang’, so in chinese, it is with a special connotation like, ‘Wang4′ which means PROSPER…and many cars (that one long row of car lights) were queuing outside this temple (see the spot with the brightest light, the most brightly lit!) just before twelve o’clock. It’s strange as we followed the chinese custom but with the ‘western’ clock in terms of timing;)
These people are normally superstitious, they wanna be the first to put the ‘incense’ for the ‘Fortune God’ in this temple, this way, to gain good fortune for the new piggy year!
The Chinese Zodiac links twelve animals to a cycle of twelve years. This year it’s the year of the pig.
