very cool….but dizzying perspective! Love all those colorful buildings along the waterfront.
Those colurful tops are shelter huts of restraunt & pubs along the river. The view while having your meal & drinks is the cool CBD skyline….will try to get the shots from there tom.

A bumboat is a wooden boat with a motor. It is flatter than the usual yachts, and much slower too. More typical in South East Asian countries as a means of river transportation.
The river color is green. We often have brown river colors form mud and silt that washes in after a rain. I have only seen green water in fish ponds that are stagnant. Surely this is not the case with this large river. I think the green in stagnant fish ponds come from algae growth induced by lawn fertilizer runoff. Not sure about rivers though.
It poured rain yesterday and I took some photos through the windshield experimenting.
