Today is Theme Day Post and the theme is: Take a picture of your city from your bedroom window. (or from a friend’s bedroom window)
This was the view from my bedroom window when I was in Singapore. It is the view of a primary school (for children from age 6-12). Most of the morning begins my day with the National Anthem and school bell rings. During their recess time at about 10am, you can see children running in the field – squealing with excitement when they played some games like chasing one and another. The sights and sounds it sets sometimes make me feel I am ‘back to my childhood’ again ![]()

Living close to a school can be very noisy I agree, but it’s also nice in a way because full of life. My parents live near one and I can relate to that. Enjoyed this post very much!
‘m enjoying this theme day too. I have a friend who live sooo close to a school like you and she told sometimes she want to throw some cold water by her window because of the morning noise!
But she doesn’t mean it
I love the sounds of kids at play during school breaks. It’s one of the happiest noises there is.
The sky is nice.I hope the sky here in Ampang will be like that.
I wish I could see the children playing better.
Big School!
the school have a very big hall!
Happy Theme Day
Hope you are adapting well in Budapest
I was just thinking it must be very noisy but also there is something very uplifting about hearing children at play.
Hope you view in Budapest is nice and open like this one!
prise de vue impressionnante. et quel ciel.
catch of impressive sight. and which sky.
A very big school and a nice view.
Wouldn’t it be different if you woke up in my house and looked out the bedroom window? My site shows what you would see.

and did you have to wear a uniform?:)
Big sky, big school, lots of storey, numerous windows, lots of buildings.
Happy DP Theme Day.
It was a dramatic image when the screen was filled with all blue sky then after scrolled down I received the treat of a school yard scene. It must have been pleasent to be greeted as you were each morning by the school bells and I sure the sound of excited children. I will have to check Budapest DP next.
Zannie, Here on the US west coast it would be so unusual to see a large elementary school and it’s wide open space for playing fields and outdoor space for children right in the center of the urban density I see of high rise dwellings. Seattle is (on paper) aiming for that sort of shift, having families live downtown. they are taking their model from Vancouver BC Canada, which got its model from many immigrants from Hong Kong in the 1980s. Cool view!

So you are back to school everyday! I enjoy hearing the sounds of the children in our neighborhood. Don’t believe I would like to live where it was too quiet!
I’d get worried that all those people could be looking in my windows, but that’s just me.
Looks like great primary school.
nice view….and I can almost hear the children laughing and playing!
