We were privileged enough to have been invited to stay for a night at the Siloso Beach Resort… This was the welcoming site…. a nice man-made waterfall that is actually part of the swimming pool.

Hi5 balloons!
Strange thing is that the pricing of tickets for the hour long show (excluding a 20 min break) was pretty decently priced at $50. I never figured out why till I got there and found out about the merchandising! One could easily spend enough for two tickets worth if you indulged in the merchandise. The bunch of ballons here cost thousands of dollars… each balloon was being sold at $10, and parents and kids were rushing for them after the show! Am I so glad that my kids do not bother about these balloons… PHEW!

Hi5 in SG!
Last week, Hi5 came to town… and I had the privilege to bring my kids to watch Hi5 LIVE. Were they happy!
It was a an eye opener for me too… one of the very first few concerts that I have been too… and it is for kids! Truly enjoyed myself.
I had purposely put my DSLR aside thinking that there should be no photography nor videography inside, but there was! So, during the 20 min break, I went to the car to get my DSLR and took some photos for memory’s sake…
Here is the group that came to SG for the Hi5 Travelling Circus performance at Singapore Expo Hall 3.
The cross @ Changi Chapel
This is the close up of the cross which lay at the Changi Chapel altar. Reputedly made by a serviceman PoW out of an expanded artillery shell. Cleverly shows the resourcefulness of the PoWs at that time. Thing is, the cross looks nothing of an artillery shell.

Changi Chapel – must go!
I am a West Ender… finally, I had the opportunity (though not very much by choice) to head to the Eastern board of SG for Changi Chapel, off Changi Prison.
Here is a picture of the relocated Changi Prison that I went to… it is surrounded by the museum (white walls) around it.
This is a heritage site… not the original but a replica of the original Changi Chapel. Story of the chapel goes to tell about how the PoWs in the WWII in Singapore took refuge in the chapel and found strength in God within the PoW Camp. Many other stories apply with relics, etc. Worth visiting to find out about the history of Singapore during WWII.
