”My good friend _uncommon (Marcus) has asked about the workflow for this HDR. Nothing special here, except that on top of the usual five exposures (-2EV,-1EV,0EV,+1EV,+2EV), I switched the camera to manual mode to get 2 extra exposures because the trees on the left were still too dark for the +2EV exposure.
Then for the tone mapping in Photomatix, I used very conservative settings (Strength: 90, Color Saturation: 60, Light Smoothing: 1, Luminosity: 2, Micro contrast: 2, Micro-smoothing: 4)
After HDR generation, noise cleaning with ‘Noise Ninja’. Then applied a ‘Curve’ with a Layer Mask to brighten only the trees on the left. That’s it basically!”

Very nice sunset or sunrise. I like your photography.
Very impressive. I’ve got to try different exposures and then mix them. It must be a problem if something moves, like trees in the wind or so?
That is gorgeous! Your photos are wonderful.
Bravo!
Did not understand one word of the description (!), but I know what I like, and I like this contrast between smooth waters and swirly skies
Couldn’t resist coming to have a look at this one…………….superb!
