Roof top demolition

Looks very scary to me. Wonder what will happened if something goes wrong with the building structure? How do they get those heavy cranes up there?

        Hi Kate,

Thanks. It’s not near Suntec. It’s next to Ocean Tower building at the entrance of Raffles Place MRT. The building name is called “Ocean Building” and will be around 40+ floors (higher than existing building). Currently demolishing floor by floor cos cannot just demolished all at one go due to nearby buildings & amenities.

Thanks for dropping by Barry. Will do.

        Cheers
        Ming

It does look unsafe. Especially for a demolition. I can understand the need for cranes on the top of new construction but I think heavy equipment is very questionable. Most often we hear of implosions to bring big buildings down.
