You see them everywhere in Singapore. Majority of the residents stay in the heartland like these Gov flat provided by the Housing and Development Board (HDB).

Most people living in HDB aims to “upgrade” in future to a higher status living as in private condominium or newer apartments. Others like myself do the opposite as with HDB you can get really bigger size place (mine was from 1000 -sq ft to 1500-sq ft) and more convenient and lots of amenities like near shopping malls & public transports. Also HDB flat cost a lot less.

This is the place that i moved in just recently. Very windy most of the time.
