Caught this in the early hours of yesterday morning (3:30am to 6am). Was very exciting at the start for me (being first time moonwatching) but was damn tired the next morning.

New Nissan QashQai launched today at Raffles Place. Promoting the new car model was two famous radio DJ from radio station Class95. It drew quite a lot of crowds during lunch hours with a lucky draw of $5,000!

and today official launch of Nissan’s QASHQAI (pronounced Cash Kai), is named after a desert-dwelling tribe who live near the Zagros mountains, in South Western Iran.

This river Bumboat cruise is very popular with local school excursion (here my daughter was boarding as part of the school excursion) as well as foreign tourists.
Once the working lifeline of the port of Singapore and a dirty, unsightly waterway, the Singapore River today is clean and pleasant. It’s a 45 minute ride and a great value to relax and see the surrounding scenic path through the central city to Marina Bay.






All schools in Singapore celebrated the National Day event today at 7am this morning. Lots of parades, speeches, singings, waves (the one you see at sport events where people makes a wave formation). I was ask to be the school photographer for this special yearly event.

Sultan Mosque
With its massive golden dome and huge prayer hall, the Sultan Mosque is one of Singapore’s most imposing religious buildings, and the focal point of Muslims in Singapore. The mosque, designed by Denis Santry, was built in 1928. Located on Muscat Street. Visitors are advised to dress conservatively as this is a place of worship.
