Man has tamed the Kallang River. This is what there is of it after the Lower Peirce Reservoir’s dam, as it flows past Bishan Park. When the dam overflows during heavy rain it fills very quickly!
There is a plan now to “re-naturalise” the river here. I hope it happens.

What does your HDR stand for?
now kallang river is very nice… many people kayaks on kallang river everyday
but there is hotel construction by the riverside recently… hope it won’t pollute the nice river…
