This weekend is the Travel Fiesta 2008 events held at Suntec City convention centre.  Last chance to grap that year-end holiday packages for families (like myself) who want to get away for a holiday. Was there tonight for the Marina Barrage officially open to the public. It’s Singapore 15th reservoir, and the first in the heart of the city.

The Marina Barrage was twenty years in the making when Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew’s vision envisaged damming the mouth of the Marina Channel to create a freshwater reservoir.
