Singapore Cruise Centre

Singapore Cruise Centre Photo by Ming

Singapore Cruise Centre is located just across Sentosa Island, one of the region’s premier island resorts. Many passengers pass through the Singapore Cruise Centre on their way to fascinating destinations in the region to get away for a few days.

We took this “Cruise To Nowhere” last Friday evening in which the cruise depart and return to Singapore without disembarking the ship for 3 days. It’s a popular trip for the locals & foreign tourists to get away for a few days. Many activities on this Virgo cruise including live entertaining shows for the kids & adults. Most adults do visit the many casino rooms to try their luck :-)

If you are visiting Singapore, do hop on many of the cruises that are available. If you do stay in the room with the balcony, you will experience the breathtaking view of the sea.

Singapore Stone

The Fullerton Hotel by Ming

Now a five-star boutique hotel located near the mouth of the Singapore River, in the Downtown Core of Central Area, Singapore. But, did you know? The northern end of the building covers the site of Fort Fullerton, a fort built in 1829 to defend the settlement against any naval attacks.

In 1843, the fort was extended after a sandstone monolith with an inscription possibly dating back to the 13th century was demolished. A fragment of this monolith, known as the “Singapore Stone“, was salvaged and preserved in the collection of the National Museum at Stamford Road. The fort gave way to the first General Post Office and the Exchange Building in 1874.

Cycling at anytime of the year

In Singapore, children are always able to go out to do some simple exercises like cycling or simply running after their friends/siblings. This is definitely something I believe not many parents of young children appreciate in singapore. If you compare with the bitter winter in the western regions, children usually faces a seasonal depression. Such as they may sleep too much, have little energy, and crave sweets and starchy foods. They may also feel depressed and behave grouchy.

Flipside Esplanade

SG5

Our Esplanade in Singapore is exactly with a large, open, level area ideal for walking like what you can see on this photo (by Ming). Now til 14 June 2009, you can find a series that presents the lighter side of the arts, offering fun and quirky theatre, music and dance programmes. This is in conjunction with the Singapore Arts Festival every year. You can expect unconventional, imaginative work and some eccentric humour!

Infrastructure – Steps

Singapore inherited from the colonial era a superior infrastructure and well-developed transport network. After independence, the government made many efforts and sizable investments to improve these even further. These concrete steps are just another of the example of day to day urban infrastructure for city dwellers living in Singapore.

This is the top view from the housing apartment. Just a different perspective to share. You can’t view it from this photo, but this area encompasses the largest land mass within its constituency. This area is one of the closest point to Malaysia. There are also some of the historically important colonial architecture which remains standing on the main land till this day.

Multi Shots Series

I was at my sister’s house for the long weekend last week.
Was feeling bored and therefore used my iPhone to play around with the Multi-shot app again. It is quite fun actually, for this shot, i increase the time interval to be slightly more than a second. By doing this, i would have more time to compose for the next shot.

Polarize Series

This is just another random shots from the pool table that is seldom in used now at my office.
I always love to shoot around the pool table, the colors and the items there can have so many shots that i wont get bored to.
