Happy Birthday to me :)
Well, it’s the time of the year again, 13th of August is my birthday
This year I will be celebrating it with my husband in Budapest. Today I am featuring on this daily photo blog of Singapore one of my ‘favourite places to go’ in Singapore – that’s the SENTOSA !
Zsolt’s Singapore – Riverside Point
You can see this night shot of the Riverside Point on the historic river which Raffles had fashioned from salt marshes, sand bars and mangrove swamps. The river has witnessed the British rule and the Japanese occupation, and has supported years of economic activity by the Chinese, Malays, Indians and others.

Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!!
Multi-racial Singapore
The beauty of Singapore is that it is multi-racial and multi-cultural! Wikipedia describe it as ”Singapore has achieved a significant degree of cultural diffusion with its unique combination of these ethnic groups, and has given Singapore a rich mixture of diversity for its young age. Singapore has several distinct ethnic neighborhoods, including Little India, Chinatown and Kampong Glam, formed by the Raffles Plan of Singapore in the early 19th century to segregate the new immigrants into specific areas. ”
Is the city you are living in a multi-cultural and multi-racial one too?:)

ION Orchard, Singapore by Zsolt
There are many details in the interior as well as the exterior of this building. Zsolt loved the designers’ detail touches from those wavy curves to the toilet signage. It also has the best use of lightings and the best play of escalators structures since it has the four basement levels. Sometimes it surprises you with different colours in part of this ION.
Zsolt’s Singapore
This photo is by Zsolt from Budapest, Hungary. His very first impression is that Singapore is a green garden city. Of course, he wrote his impressions about his experience being in Singapore in his blog here. Read on if you wanna know what he thinks?
