The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is a popular harvest festival celebrated by Chinese people, Koreans, and Vietnamese people. Here in Singapore, most places sells the moon cake in various flavors & packaging.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, which is usually around late September or early October. Most people here will follow the tradition culture and observe
- Eating moon cakes outside under the moon (…yummy)
- Putting pomelo ( a kind of fruit) rinds on one’s head (…hummmm)
- Carrying brightly lit lanterns (…should be fun for the young kids)

I’m living overseas and would like to celebrate the mooncake festival too, do you know the exact date of the festival is?
