It was an exciting & fun night for this annual event celebrated tonight in some places in Singapore. Some are more elaborate decorated in whole street such as this one near Holland Road where lots of foreigners lived.

Children proceed in costume from house to house, asking for treats such as candy while mentioning the words “trick-or-treat” and wearing traditional costumes such as ghosts, skeletons, witches, and devils. They are said to be used to scare off demons.

This is a typical condominium (i.e privately built apartments and not from government) where lots of facilities (club house, pools, games, etc…) are available for the tenants & guests.

It’s been four years since she won American Idol. According to a recent Forbes report, she is the top earner amongst the contest winners from June 2008 to May 17, 2009. Quotes from CNA.

Singapore “Double-Helix” bridge

The bridge (in the foreground of the Singapore flyer) will link the Bayfront area to Marina Centre, completing a walking route that brings visitors to the major attractions around the bay including the Esplanade and the future Integrated Resort and Singapore Flyer. The new 280metre-long bridge is envisaged to be a destination point for all visitors to Marina Bay – a place for them to enjoy and catch a panoramic view of the Singapore city skyline.
