Theme day: Open air market, Chinatown Market

Quite hard to find the open air market in Singapore, due to hygiene reasons I guess and the humidity level is too high there to prevent contamination of fresh food. Food handling is quite strictly controlled.

There are some flea markets, here are six to share:-
Zouk Flea & Easy Market
Clarke Quay Sunday Flea Market
Sungei Road Thieves’ Market
China Square Central Flea Market
Bugis Street Market
Arab Street Market

Do you know what are these items?

  1. My first reaction was pencils but upon closer look, I think not. Haven’t a clue: candy of some sort, perhaps. Whatever they are, they’re very colourful!

  2. What wonderful colours and a great shot for our theme day. I too thought they are pencils but I’m really not sure. Look forward to finding out.
